At Turkish local time 5:40, December 8, the foundation slab pouring of the eurosilo area T3 transfer station was completed, which marks the Turkey Hunutlu Thermal Power Plant bid section 4#, constructed by the Second Project Management Department, having officially entered the peak construction phase.
Since the construction of the Turkey Hunutlu Thermal Power Plant Project, by paying high attention and making clear guidance, leaders of Henan D.R. have given strong support to the formulation of plans for excavation and support of ultra-deep foundation pits, excavation of extra-large volumes of earth and stone, and eurosilo cylinder wall formwork systems.
During the construction of the project, the project department strictly adheres to the “Compliance and Excellence” management concept and working style and carefully carries out the organization and construction work. With concerted effort, the staff has successfully overcome difficulties like overseas resource organization, complex geological conditions for deep foundation pit excavation, and construction in the rainy season. As a result, the first large-scale concreting in the eurosilo area is completed on time.
The eurosilo area project is one of the hardest nuts to crack in the construction of the whole plant. The volume of earth and stone reaches 240,000m³ and the deepest point under the earth is 21.75m. The completion of the foundation pit excavation in the eurosilo area and the pouring of the foundation slab at the T3 transfer station have laid a good foundation for the subsequent construction of the project.
