Recently, the evaluation results of the 2026 China Power High Quality Project Award were officially released. Four projects undertaken by the Henan D.R. Construction Group were selected for the honor, namely the Pailou 500kV New Substation Project, the Smart, Green, Efficient and Flexible Demonstration Project for Full Combustion of Zhundong High-alkali Coal (Changji Zhundong 2×660 MW Thermal Power Project), the Ruoqiang 2×350 MW Cogeneration Project, and the Shenhua Guohua Qingyuan Power Generation Project.
The Pailou 500kV New Substation Project is a major energy project in Hebei Province. It has also been designated as a large-scale new energy AC collection demonstration project of State Grid Corporation of China and a key project of Jibei Power Grid during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. The project meets the demand for power collection and delivery of large-scale newly added new energy sources in the Weichang area of northern Chengde, further increases the absorption ratio of clean energy power in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and supplies clean power to meet the electricity demand of the load centers in the region. The Fifteenth Project Management Department of the Group undertook the construction of major production buildings, distribution equipment (foundations for equipment and support structures), station-wide buildings, fire pump houses and fire pipelines, special structures, foundation treatment, grounding busbars and station lighting systems.
The Smart, Green, Efficient and Flexible Demonstration Project for Full Combustion of Zhundong High-alkali Coal (Changji Zhundong 2×660 MW Thermal Power Project) is an energy-saving and eco-friendly project vigorously promoted by the state. Through systematic technological integration and management innovation, it has successfully solved the national-level technical challenge of full combustion of Zhundong high-alkali coal, and fully complies with the requirements of the national Action Plan for Accelerating the Development and Construction of a New Power System. The Xinjiang Branch of the Group undertook the civil works of Unit 1, central control building, ash removal system, coal conveying system, material and maintenance warehouses, as well as retaining walls and slope protection areas within the plant.
The Ruoqiang 2×350 MW Cogeneration Project is a key project of the autonomous region during the 14th Five-Year Plan period and a major investment project of TBEA in southern Xinjiang. It serves as a supporting power source for the new Ruoqiang urban area and also provides local heating service. The Section C works undertaken by the Northwest Branch of the Group mainly consist of the main powerhouse of Unit 1, external structures outside Row A, central control building, ash silos, boiler rear area and chemical water treatment area.
The Shenhua Guohua Qingyuan Power Generation Project is a key construction project in Guangdong Province. Its two 1,000 MW ultra-supercritical double-reheat thermal power units passed the 168-hour trial operation successfully one after another within one week, setting a new precedent in China's power industry. The Section C works undertaken by the Chimney & Cooling Tower Construction Branch of the Group mainly consist of the construction and partial installation works of one 240-meter chimney and two natural draft high-level water collection cooling towers with a floor area of 14,000 square meters each.

This is an authoritative certification that the projects have set industry benchmarks in safety, quality and workmanship.
